The flesh of the Blood Orange turns from orange in fall to a deep rich ruby red with exposure to increasing cold.  It is excellent for juice and its unique color makes it great for salads and fresh eating.  Very hardy, down to the low teens.  Ripens Dec-Mar. Zones 8-10.
